My current work in progress version is in the "master" branch, with more experimental code in their own branches.
The open beta version is available under Downloads.
Dancing Mad is currently in open beta. Dancing Mad contains an easy installer to allow you to download the music you want, patch your ROM, and be ready to go. Dancing Mad is an FF6 rom hack or mod using the MSU-1 to replace the built-in music with CD quality streaming music from a number of sources. Please submit any issues using the Issues tab on the left. Welcome to the repository for Dancing Mad. UPDATE: Prepackaged song presets are here! Use of the installer is still recommended for most users, but users familiar with patching a ROM themselves might be interested. I will explain our current codebase to the best of my ability, and we can work things out from there. If you're interested, visit our Discord server and have a chat with me.
The actual patch, the SNES ASM part of the project, is what I want to find someone to take over. The installer is a mess, frankly, but I'm willing to continue to maintain that part of the project myself. I consider it nearly feature complete, with fading as the only remaining high priority task, as well as fixing a small handful of bugs. I am seeking maintainers or long term help for this project, as I have had very little time or energy over the last two years to devote to this project.
