Try to protect everybody from your shelter or sacrifice some of them for longer-term survival. Make life-and-death decisions driven by your conscience. At night, take one of your civilians on a mission to scavenge through a set of unique locations for items that will help you stay alive. During the day snipers outside stop you from leaving your refuge, so you need to focus on maintaining your hideout: crafting, trading and taking care of your survivors. The pace of This War of Mine is imposed by the day and night cycle. The game provides an experience of war seen from an entirely new angle. I don't believe his backstory either, I figure He's lying about the TV show and saying that it's really popular in a neighboring country, when in reality there isn't any TV show. Also, I just have a gut feeling that Bruno could be a psycho.
Roman is too good at killing so it had to be Bruno. Anton would have been first choice because of his small backpack but he don't drink, so no. It was a choice between Anton, Bruno and Roman for this. Would like to get Bruno through winter, get the shelter teched up and then Bruno becomes a psycho going out killing one night, wallowing in booze, smokes and self pity the next, before out on the kill again. Finding it really difficult to get Bruno's mood up when he has to be out every night to avoid being caught up in raids. This time upto Day 17 and Bruno is constantly at breaking point. Tough going, I made it to Day 13 first attempt before Bruno topped himself. 80 day, high conflict, early, severe, long winter, 20 toughest locations, with Bruno.
